The mission of The American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc. (AISHC), is dedicated to providing quality culturally competent healthcare to the American Indian and Alaska Native community and other underserved populations in the greater Chicagoland area.

AIHSC’s long term goals are to improve the health and quality of life of the American Indian and Alaska Native community as well as enhance the culturally centered healthcare services offered throughout the State.

The American Indian Health Service of Chicago, Inc., will be the first choice for health service that is culturally based for the American Indian and Alaska Native community and other underserved populations.

AIHSC’s Board of Directors believe that our core values begin with “leadership by example” and that these values create a balance between how work is done and the people doing the work. These values are guides for making decisions, setting priorities and the direction we take leading into the future of expanded healthcare delivery for all people who may need our assistance.
